Abstract

The paper gives a critical view of the current state and prospects for the development of the wood bioenergy and wood pellets market in Russia and the world. Analyzing the current trends, the authors substantiate their conclusions about the high attractiveness of projects for the production of wood pellets in Russia for both domestic and foreign markets. In conclusion, the authors conclude on the importance and critical importance of stimulating measures of state and municipal support, the need for parallel development of both external and internal market of wood pellets in Russia.
