Abstract

The paper is devoted to the 90th anniversary of one of the founders of the Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering of SB RAS, the Faculty of Economics of NSU, the laboratory of economic and mathematical research, the journal “ECO” and the club of directors. The scientific and organizational achievements of Academician Aganbegyan, the main stages of his formation as a scientist, the key innovations he made in the organization of science and research activities, economic education and mechanisms for the transfer of scientific results for practical use are discussed. It is shown that the most significant organizational legacy of Abel Gezevich is the integration of a large number of teams and individual outstanding scientists in the implementation of major scientific projects.
