Abstract

 The paper continues the cycle of publications devoted to the study of the possibilities of integrated assessment of the results of socio-economic development based on the joint accounting of sustainability, inclusiveness and innovativeness factors in combination with the factor of economic welfare. Earlier the author proposed a methodical concept of evaluation, justified the choice of tools in the form of factor analysis by principal components method (one of the methods of multivariate statistical analysis), presented and analyzed the practical results of the index of harmonious development, obtained on the example of the world’s leading economies. Based on the developed methodology and the previously obtained practical results, calculations of the index for the regions - subjects of the Russian Federation for a number of reference years for the time period from 2000 to 2019 were made and the corresponding rankings were compiled. The main socio-economic characteristics of the regions that most significantly determine the degree of harmonious development were identified. The results of the study are aimed at improving the methods for assessing the socio-economic development of Russian regions, expanding the opportunities for analysis and justification of state economic and regional policy.
