Abstract
The authors aim to increase the role of the Food Security Doctrine in ensuring the economic availability of fish and fish products. The authors analyze the implementation of the Food Security Doctrine of the Russian Federation from 2013 to 2020 in terms of the provision of fish products and the dynamics of prices for the main types of Arctic fish. The level of decline in the purchasing power of fish products by the population of the Murmansk Oblast in 2020 in comparison with 2013 is calculated. The measures to adjust the price policy in the domestic market of fish products and to stimulate the implementation of the Doctrine by the fishermen of the northern basin are suggested. Foreign experience in the regulation of prices for fish and agricultural products is considered. It is proposed to give the Food Security Doctrine a legislative character.References
