Трансформация золотого стандарта и централизация золотовалютных резервов в 1930–1945 гг.

Аннотация

В период 1930–1945 гг. золотой стандарт уступил место Бреттон-Вудской золотовалютной системе с доминированием доллара США. На основе архивных и статистических материалов, документов Бреттон-Вудской конференции проведён комплексный анализ этой трансформации. Установлено, что отказ от классических принципов золотого стандарта происходил волнообразно и стал результатом противоречия между жёсткими механизмами регулирования платёжных балансов и политической необходимостью экспансионистской монетарной политики. Сравнительный анализ действий центральных банков показал, что страны, оперативно перешедшие к девальвации своих валют, восстанавливались быстрее, чем те, кто упорствовал в сохранении золотого паритета. Показано также, что 77,3% добытого золота поступило в официальные резервы центральных банков, а доля США в мировых золотых резервах возросла с 38,6% в 1930 г. до 63,0% в 1945 г. благодаря сочетанию государственной политики управления золотыми запасами, притока капитала и усиления промышленно-финансовых позиций США. Бреттон-Вудская система в статье представлена как реконфигурация классического золотого стандарта в форме управляемого золотодевизного стандарта.
