Abstract
The paper deals with the issues of transportation services for natural resource industries of the Far East at the present stage. Against the background of changes in transport conditions under the influence of sanctions, the author analyzes examples of extractive projects that faced infrastructural problems at the stage of preparation for development and in the process of operation. The study shows the existence of various options for solving these problems: building their own infrastructure through private investment, receiving state support, internalization of negative externalities. The trends of transportation service in the eastern regions in 2022 are summarized with the allocation of natural resource industries. Along with the increased deficit of railroad capacity, the uneven growth of tariffs for certain types of cargoes of natural resource industries, as well as a high degree of uncertainty and variability of institutional conditions of access to infrastructure are noted.References
