Abstract
The author of the paper critically analyzes the new version of the Strategy for socio-economic development of Siberia until 2035. Some wording causes serious comments; the list of priority areas of development (clusters) seems incomplete – not reflecting the existing potential and not corresponding with the interests of the territory’s development. When describing the development of transport, energy infrastructure, some key sectors of specialization, not only modern technological achievements, but also global development trends are ignored. Finally, the realities of the new geo-economic and geopolitical situation and global climate change are completely ignored. The author concludes that the new Strategy is already outdated at the time of release and proposes to revise its content, expanding the scope of the document to the entire Asian part of Russia.References
