Abstract
The president of one of the largest transport and logistics companies in the Russian Federation in the interview to “ECO” tells about the current situation in the Russian transport and logistics industry. The issues considered from the point of view of business embrace the influence of antipandemic restriction, the advantages and disadvantages of the new edition of Transport strategy of the RF till 2035, and the necessity of systematic state approach to development of logistic segment, which is able to increase considerably the potential of transport in general. Among the most acute problems of development that have been identified is the lack of a unified strategy and approaches in the management, high import dependence on all elements of the container market. Business expectations from the state policy in the field of transport and freight transport development are formulated.
