Abstract

The article provides an overview of the seminar held in May 2019 to discuss the state of economic knowledge in our country, including its trajectory of development, specific features and certain significant facts. It contains an outline of the discussion as well as some comments necessary to explain the objectives of the exercise and its format. A range of professional forms of economic knowledge, grown or rooted on Russian soil and different from the global mainstream economics, is presented.
