Abstract

The new and previous business models and their implementation in television industry are analyzed in the article. The process of digitalization is dealt with, this process has deeply modified the industry and become one of the main drivers in its evolution. There investigated various methods of information technology utilization in television and competitive paths of television companies development under digitalization. New types of business models and new aspects of monetization in the industry are proposed.
