Аннотация
Авторы оценивают влияние глобальных инфраструктурных проектов («Один пояс, один путь», экономический коридор «Индия – Ближний Восток – Европа» и Международный транспортный коридор «Север-Юг») на бедность в странах Южной Азии. Они выдвигают гипотезу, что это влияние различается в зависимости от причин бедности. Используя корреляционный и регрессионный анализ, применяя коэффициент Чоу, они показывают, что в краткосрочном периоде международная инфраструктура способствует снижению уровня бедности, а в долгосрочном за счет диспропорций создания и распределения доходов от ее функционирования запускает в национальных экономиках процессы, приводящие к ее росту.Библиографические ссылки
